This was not a new experience for him, as he once ran a chain of restaurants from Gujrat to Punjab before moving to Canada in 1994 with his family. This had to be a hit because all the experience he gained working since his early teens. This location had capacity for 50 and as the time passed by this was one of the busiest Indian restaurants in lower mainland. He always wanted to build a place where customers would come to enjoy the food and have a feel that they are in the Taj Mahal. But he didn’t have enough time to fulfill his goal as he passed away in April 2010. To fulfill his goal, his son Inder Saini and son in law Manjit Basutta, opened Tasty Indian Bistro in the summer of 2011. As you walk through the front entrance you will see marble and stone artwork on every wall of the restaurant and hand carved stone tables to give a feeling you of a king.
